Mr Ben is an experienced UK trained specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist with full Australian qualification and accreditation. Aside from his Australian experience, Ben has around 20 years of UK practice experience during which he held positions such as senior consultant, uro-gynaecology clinical lead and senior lecturer (Hons). He was an RCOG (London) Specialist skill module (SSM) trainer in urodynamics, uro-gynaecology, vaginal surgery and medical education. In addition, he was an education committee member for the International Uro-gynaecological Association (IUGA) for a number of years.
Ben currently has a public appointment with Monash Health and prior to this, he was the HOD of obstetrics and gynaecology in a Western Australian Hospital. He has admitting rights with the following Hospitals: Casey Hospital Berwick, Saint John of God Hospital Berwick, The Valley Hospital Mulgrave, Knox Private Hospital Knox, Frankston Private Day Hospital and The South Eastern Private Hospital.

Following his MBBS in 1990, Ben received 10 years (1993-2003) of specialist training in the UK, in the fields of obstetrics and gynaecology. During this period, he received additional training in urology, urodynamics and general surgery. Following this, he worked as consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist in both public and private sectors in the UK for about 10 years. Ben has published several research papers and received awards in the UK for his clinical excellence and innovative work, especially in the area of uro-gyneacology. Ben is known not only for his clinical excellence and the delivery of the highest standard of care to patients but also for his warmth, friendly and empathetic approach to patients’ care.
Dr Ben is the director of Eden Medics – a private gynaecology, uro-gynaecology and urodynamics specialist services provider.
