Mr Ben is a caring, competent and experienced obstetrician who provides the highest quality of obstetrics care for pregnant women of all risk categories. He provides antenatal care for high and low risk women and performs the following obstetrics procedures:
In addition to his clinical experience in obstetrics, Ben has conducted several obstetrics quality improvement initiatives, including audits, clinical reviews and research – among them a pioneering obstetrics research in the UK (1994-1995) that evaluated urine output in labour. The result of this research has helped to better understand urine output and kidney function in women with pre-eclampsia in labour. A paper on this research was presented at the British feto-maternal medicine society meeting (University of York, UK, 1999) and published in a peer reviewed journal – see below.

Ben has been involved in the development of obstetrics guidelines throughout his career and served as a member of Monash Health Maternity Guideline Development Committee.
